Vehicles have been part of my life and career for years.
But when it came time to think about our family's next vehicle, I found myself facing the same question many Australians are asking today:
Petrol, Hybrid or EV?
The problem wasn't a lack of information.
The problem was a lack of clarity.

I'm a qualified motor vehicle mechanic.
I've spent years around vehicles, repairs, servicing and ownership realities.
Because of that background, most people assume I would instantly know which vehicle would actually work for my family.
The truth is, I didn't.
When I started researching our next vehicle, I discovered just how difficult it had become to compare Petrol, Hybrid and EV options from an ownership perspective.
There was plenty of information available.
But very little guidance focused on the question that actually mattered:
Which option would fit our life best?
